Kirstie Mary Allsopp, often known as Kirstie Allsopp represents herself as a television presenter-journalist. Born on 31, August 1971, she belongs to BritishNationality. Kirstie Allsopp was born in Hampstead, London, United Kingdom as a daughter of Charles Henry Allsopp and Fiona Victoria Jean Atherley McGowan. Her father is 6th Baron Hindlip and a former chairman of Christie’s. Her mother Fiona died in 2014. Allsopp is the elder child, she has two younger sisters named Sofie and Natasha and a younger brother Henry. Being a daughter of a member of the British nobility, she is allowed to use the courtesy style ‘The Honourable Kirstie Allsopp’. She is the cousin of businesswoman and designer Cath Kidston.

Kirstie Allsopp attended various schools including St Clotilde’s in Lechlade, Gloucestershire, and Bedales to complete her high school education. She worked for Country Living and Food & Homes Magazine and at the same time she helped her mother in her business, Hindlip & Prentice Interiors. Allsopp started her own venture named Kermit, a home search company, in 1996.

She co-hosted Location, Location, Location for Channel 4. She also co-presented spin-off Relocation, Relocation in between 2004 and 2011. She also presented The Property Chain. In between 2009 and 2011, she was the host of Kirstie’s Homemade Home and Kirstie's Homemade Christmas. Similarly, in 2011 she ran Kirstie's Vintage Home and Kirstie’s Fill Your House for free, Kirstie’s Handmade Treasures, Kirstie’s Crafty Christmas and Kirstie Allsopp’s Homestyle in 2013. In 2014, she was the host of Kirstie’s Best of Both Worlds and Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas.

PERSONAL LIFE

Kirstie Allsopp is currently married to property developer Ben Andersen and the couple has two children named Bay and Oscar. They gave birth to their first child in July 2006 and second child in August 2008. Her husband Andersen has two children from his previous children Hal and Orion. In 2009, the couple bought a house which had been unused for 39 years and settled there with another family in Devon called Meadowgate. In 2010, she was associated with Conservative Part as a supporter. In 2014 her mother died at the age of 66 from breast cancer.
