Langton was born on 27th November 1970, in a copper-mining town in Arizona to Jackson Langton and Cumming Langton. Her mother is a surgical nurse and his father is a geologist. Brooke’s maternal grandfather, Stephen Cummings was a bomber pilot, who fought World War II. Her maternal grandmother is a Swedish who emigrated to Minnesota. Her aunt Sally Spalding is a television script supervisor (also called continuity supervisor).

As a child, Langton grew up in Illinois and Texas, where she attended various institutes including Herscher High School, L. D. Bell High School, and San Diego State University. Before she pursues a career in acting, Langton primarily worked as a model in Japan.

In 2007, Langton starred in the horror film “Primeval” as Aviva Masters opposite Dominic Purcell.

Langton had a recurring role on the NBC drama series, “Friday Night Lights” from 2007-08.
