Amanda Seyfried was born on 3rd December 1985, and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to Ann, an occupational therapist, and Jack Seyfried, a pharmacist. She is of German, and some English and Scottish, ancestry. At the age of Eleven, she began modeling and acting in a high school production as well as taking singing lessons.
