Bae Suzy was born on 10th October 1994, in Buk District, Gwangju, South Korea. Her birth name is Bae Su-ji. She is the daughter of Bae Wan-young and Jeong Hyun-sook. Suzy grew up along with her sister Su-bin and brother Sang-moon.

Initially, Bae Suzy worked as an online shopping model. She even auditioned for Mnet Superstar K in 2009 but got eliminated. But soon, Suzy became a trainee at JYP Entertainment. Suzy even formed a group miss A with Fei and Jia in March 2010. Their group released a commercial song for Samsung entitled “Love Again.”

They released their first single “Bad Girl Good Girl” from their first album A Class in July 2010. Later, in October 2010, Suzy became a host for MBC Show! Music Core. Likewise, she further hosted other programs including Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards etc.
