Eva Maria Noblezada was born on March 18, 1996, in San Diego, California. Later, her family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she attended school at the Northwest School of the Arts. She diligently pursued singing and acting as a child, which served as a good basis for a theater career. Particularly at the age of 17, she auditioned at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (Jimmy Awards), and the casting director Tara Rubin recognized her talent and shortly invited her to audition for the West End revival of Miss Saigon. This role was the starting point for her career.

Eva Noblezada made her professional debut as Kim in the 2014 West End revival of Miss Saigon. She was critically acclaimed for her performance and won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical. Additionally, she portrayed the role of Kim on Broadway in 2017 for which she was given a Theatre World Award. And a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, making her one of the youngest nominees.

She then took on the role of Éponine in the West End production of Les Misérables. Moreover, Eva originated the title character Eurydice in Hadestown, first in London and then on Broadway. This earned her a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album with the cast and her second Tony nomination.

Film and Television

In addition to her stage work, Eva Noblezada also did television and film. She, for instance, was cast as Rose Garcia in the Yellow Rose of 2020 alongside Lea Salonga. Eva Noblezada also voiced Sam in the animated film Luck and portrayed character Tala in Easter Sunday (2022), an all-Filipino cast film. She also appeared on television dramas such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and short films such as Champ, demonstrating versatility across media.
