Nia Sioux Frazier was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 20, 2001, to Evan and Holly Frazier. She started dancing at age 3, focusing mainly on contemporary and musical theater with the Abby Lee Dance Company.
Dance Moms Career
In addition, Nia rose to fame during her time as a junior elite dancer on reality television show “Dance Moms.” Having danced there for seven seasons, she faced all sorts of drama and exclusion backstage; nevertheless, she found it a life-changing experience.

After Season 7B, she transferred to Dance Mechanics for her dance training.

Besides dancing, Nia is talented in singing and acting. She produced singles such as “Star In Your Own Life” and “Slay,” and created viral YouTube music videos. Not to mention, she made her Off-Broadway debut in the 2016 production “Trip of Love” and appeared in “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Code,” along with projects associated with Sia and the 2021 remake of “West Side Story.”

In 2025, Nia published her memoir Bottom of the Pyramid, where she shared personal experiences and challenges she faced in the dance industry.

Education and Personal Development
She also graduated from UCLA in June 2024 with a major in American Literature and Culture. She combines education with an artistic career and seeks to inspire youth to believe in themselves.
