Tyler Posey is a Young Artist Awards winning actor, musician, producer, and director. He is widely known for his role as Scott McCall on the MTV drama “Teen Wolf.” Having active in this field since 2009, he has appeared several films and TV series.

Tyler was in a relationship with Mackenzie Rosman in 2002, but after dating around a year, the couple ended their relationship in 2003.

Tyler Posey was born on 18th October 1991 to John Posey and Cyndi Teresa Garcia in Santa Monica, California, USA. His mother passed away due to breast cancer in December 2014. He grew up along with two siblings, Jesse and Derek, in Southern California.

He enrolled Hart High School, where he used to play the piano. Since his childhood, he desired to be an actor. To pursue his acting, he began to perform on stage along with his actor/writer father, John.

Posey started his acting career working in both television and movies in the early 2000s. Then, he landed a minor role in the American action film ‘Collateral Damage’ in 2002.

At the same year, he appeared in ‘Maid in Manhattan’ romantic comedy, where he played the son of the female lead, played by Jennifer Lopez.

His breakthrough role came when he appeared in the American TV series ‘Doc’ from 2001 to 2004. He played the role of Raul Garcia, an eight-year-old orphan boy who nods in the basement of a church with his mother before she falls ill and dies.

Later he is adopted by an officer of the New York Police Department.For his amazing talents as an actor, Tyler Posey has received numerous awards such as the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Comedy Series – Supporting Young Actor in 2002 for ‘Doc.’

Then, he began to appear in the minor roles such as Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye ( 2005), Smallville ( 2006), ‘Brothers and Sisters‘ 2006–2007, Lincoln Heights (2009), Legendary (2010) and much more. 

From 2016 to 2017, he voiced in the computer-animated television series “Elena of Avalor.” In 2017, he made his recurring role in the satirical romantic comedy-drama “Jane the Virgin” playing Adam.

As a singer, he has featured in the music videos such as “Young & Stupid,” “Secrets,” and “Colors.”

In 2011, Tyler Posey was cast in the popular TV series ‘Teen Wolf,’ playing the role of a teenager Scott McCall. The series received positive reviews and is quite popular, especially among the youths.

In 2012, he got both the ALMA Award for Favorite TV Actor and Imagen Award for Best Actor/Television for ‘Teen Wolf.’ He also obtained the Young Hollywood Award for Best Ensemble (shared with Holland Roden, Crystal Reed, Dylan O’Brien and Tyler Hoechlin) for ‘Teen Wolf’ in 2013.

He was in a relationship with Mackenzie Rosman in 2002, but after dating around a year, the couple ended their relationship in 2003.Then the  5′ 9″ actor was in a relationship with makeup artist Seana Gorlick.

The couple began to date each other when he was 12. The couple engaged in 2013. However, the engagement ended in October 2014.

Then, began to date the well-known young American actress Bella Thorne in 2016. Romance rumors first sparked when the lovebirds were spotted sharing a smooch while out and about in West Hollywood.

Dressed in baggy camo pants and a lacy bodysuit, the actress stuck close to Tyler’s side as they enjoyed an afternoon stroll. But their relationship did not work out and separated.

He was also rumored to be dating Miley Cyrus (2001) and Danielle Campbell (2015).
