He was born to Mary Ann Cooper, mother, and Charles Cooper, father and grew up with his sibling’s brother named, Chuck Cooper. Chris enrolled at the school in Kansas City. During his school days, he worked for a local theater company.

After completed his elementary education, Chris went to the University of Missouri-Columbia. While he was in the University, Chris started to take acting classes at the University of Missouri.
