Early Life

Chris Hemsworth was born on 11 August 1983 in Melbourne.He is an Australian actor.His parents are Leonie and Craig Hemsworth.Leonie is a English teacher while Craig woks as a social-service counselor.He was also raised in small Aboriginal community in Outblack called Bulman.This lies in Northern Territory.He have two brothers Luke and Liam and he is the middle one of them.They both are also actors. Chris studied at Heathmont College before he with his family returned to Northern Territory.He family also moved to Phillip Island.

Early Career

He started his  career starring in two episodes of television series as King Authur in Guinevere Jones in 2002.He was also seen in one episode of Marshall Law.He also acted in soap opera series Neighbours.He also auditioned for the role of Robbie Hunter in Home and Away in 2004 but unfortunately didn’t get the role.But he was called for the Kim Hyde role and to join the cast he moved to Sydney.He appeared in 171 episode of the series.Later on July 3 2007 he left Home and Away cast.He also took part in Dancing with the Stars Australia in its fifth season.He was partnered with Abbey Ross who is a professional dancer.After six weeks of the show,He was eliminated on November 7 2006.He then played as George Kirk,James T. Kirk’s fathe,in its opening season of the film Star Trek in 2009.

Turning into an Actor

In the same year he also potrayed as the character Kale in A Perfect Getaway.This movie was a thriller.In 2010 he acted in Ca$h.This was the first movie he shot when he came to United States.This movie was directed by Stephen Milburn Anderson.According to The Hollywood Reporter,he was one of the young male actor to be on Hollywood A-List in November 2010.He was reported to cast in the thriller movie Shadow Runner but the movie didn’t went into production.In 2011 he acted in one of the famous movie Thor.This movie is of Marvel Comics superhero Thor.He casted with Tom Hiddleston as she played as Loki.They both auditioned for role.For the role he put on 20 pounds of muscle.In 2012 he also acted in The Avengers as one of the six superheroes to defend Earth.He was also seen The Cabin in the woods which is a horror film.He also starred in Snow White & the Huntsman opposite Kristen Stewart.He acted as the Huntsman in the movie.In 2012 he potrayed as Jed Eckert in Red Dawn remake.

He then was featured in the drama Rush with her co-star Daniel Bruhl.Daniel acted as 1976 Formula 1 World Champion James Hunt.He also played in the sequel of Thor i.e Thor:The Dark World.He is also set to appear as Owen Chaase in In the Heart of the Sea in 2015.For this movie he went on a diet and loss 500-600 calories a day to lose weight.He is also set to act in the action thriller movie Blackhat whic is being directed by Michael Mann opposite to her co-star Viola Davis.He is also going to act in Avengers:Age of Ultron and Vacation which is a comedy movie.

Achievements

He is also named as Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine in 2014. In 2017 he is also to act as Thor in Thor: Ragnarok. He won Logie Award in 2005 for the movie Home and Away. In 2009 he was awarded BSFC Award, DFCS Award for the movie Star Trek. He also won CinemaCon Award in 2011 as the Male Star of Tomorrow. He also won Teen Choice Award as Choice Summer Movie in 2012. In 2013 he won MTV Movie Award, People’s Choice Award in The Avengers. 

Relationships

Chris dated Isabel Lucas from 2005 till 2008. In early 2010, he started dating Elsa Pataky. She is a Spanish actress. After dating her for a long time they got married in December 2010. The couple has three children. Her daughter’s name is India Rose who was born in May 2012 and two twins sons named Tristan and Sasha who were born in March 2014.
