Eleanor Devane started her career from Connecticut law firm Wiggin and Dana, where she had a broad transactional and intellectual property practice. She served ESPN on their real estate matters and land use matters during the development of burgeoning in Bristol Conn. In 1997, she started to work in newly created counsel position in ESPN. During her tenure in ESPN, she worked on numerous projects including: Sports Century Millennial project. In the meantime, she returned to private practice at law firm Tyler, Cooper, and Alcorn and returned to ESPN. Her advises have always been vital in corporate and real estate matters of ESPN. She has also experienced working as an assistant general counsel after return from private practice. Her working areas included the creation of ESPN’s first European networks.

Nell Devane has played a key role in the negotiation of agreements related to production and technology, remote production, engineering and various technical operations. She has handled various sports programming, development, real estate acquisition and has gained name and fame as the higher level attorney of ESPN.
