Lorenzo Lamas is American actor and martial artist better known for his portrayal role of Hector Ramirez in The Bold and the Beautiful and as Reno Raines in Renegade. He was nominated for Golden Globe Award for his role in Falcon Crest.

Lorenzo Lamas was born on 20th January 1958, in Santa Monica, California, United States. His father Fernando Lamas is an Argentine actor and mother Arlene Dahl a Norwegian American actress. At the age of 11, his father married swimmer and film star, Esther Williams.

In 1971, at the age of 13, Lamas moved to New York City. He learned Taekwondo and Karate in 1979 and earned a black belt. Lamas graduated from the Admiral Farragut Academy in 1975.
