Introduction, Early Life and Education
Margaret Brennan was born in Stamford, Connecticut. She is the daughter of Edward and Jane Brennan. Margaret was educated at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, Connecticut. She later was graduated from there in 1988. She also studied at University of Virginia situated in Charlottesville graduating with highest distinction with B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Middle East Studies with minor Arabic language in 2002. She attended Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan.

Early Career
Margaret had her contribution working at NBC Nightly News and NBC’s Today working with Louis Rukeyser who is no more. She also covered retail industry for CNBC. She also worked at Bloomberg TV as an anchor. She also have interviewed Christine Lagarde who is the member of International Monetary Fund. She also interviewed investor George Soros, Ireland’s Prime Minister and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. She have even lead anchored the coverage pf Bloomberg’s 2012 Republican presidential candidate debate.
On September 9 2013 while interviewing Secretary of State John Kerry she asked about possibility for Syrian government of avoiding U.S. In 2002 she worked at CNBC as a General Assignment Reporter interviewed Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen and also with former Wal-Mart’s CEO Lee Scott.She also was a producer of Street Sign with Ron Insana where she worked as producing interviews and also coordinated guest bookings with President George W. Bush.

As an Established Television Journalist
She left CNBC on June 24 2009 and joined Bloomberg Television. She then hosted her last show of InBusiness on April 27 2012. Recently she have anchored InBusiness along with Margaret Brennan. This program was a weekend broadcast which is a live form New York Stock Exchange. The program covered top political, global financial news and economic news. During her broadcast she covered live from Dubai, Cairo, Riyadh, London, Abu Dhabi and Dublin. She also have covered largest insider trading case in U.S history. She also have anchored live from Tahrir Square after 30 years in power. Later she joined CBS News on July 2012 as a State Department correspondent based in Washington, D.C.
She also worked as a substitute anchor on CBS Evening News and also CBS This Morning. Due to her reporting, she has travelled Asia, Europe and the even the Middle East. She was one of the reporters reporting the fatal attacks on US mission in Benghazi, Libya with Hilary Clinton. She is also a member of Council on Foreign Relations and also Economic Club of New York. Margaret was listed as 100th Irish-Americans in business and media and the top Irish Americans by Irish America magazine. When she was 30 years old NewsBios/TJFR Group named her as the top journalist in 2003. In 2010 she was awarded by Fulbright Award for international understanding. Maxim also listed her as TV’s Hottest News Anchors in 2008.
