Kimberly Anne Scott was born on 9th January 1975, in Michigan and is commonly known as Kim Mather. She is an author and illustrator. She met her ex-husband. At the time when they met, Eminem was only 15-year-old, while Kim was 13-years-old.

Kimberly was charged with felony possession of cocaine. In 2003, she was driving with a suspended license and unsafe driving near a stopped emergency vehicle. She was also arrested and charged with cocaine in 2001 and was sentenced to 30 days jail after violating her probation.
Kimberly confessed herself that the drunk driving incident in October 2015 was a suicide attempt. She drank before getting in her black Escalade with the objective of crashing the vehicle.
When she was asked about the incident, she said, "I did this on purpose, and I’m so sorry. I never lied to (first responders). I told them everything that I did,” she said on air, adding, “I didn’t expect to make it out alive."
