Ilfenesh Hadera was born on December 1, 1985, in New York City, United States. Growing up in New York City, Ilfenesh Hadera is a family girl and has shared pictures hanging out with her parents and saying nice things about them.

She graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She also studied acting at Harlem School of the Arts. She has worked with the African Services Committee to improve the quality of life of impoverished African citizens.
Acting Career
As an actress, in 2010, she made her film debut playing a small role in the movie 1/20. Afterwards, she got some success in her career, since then, she gets various roles in both big and small TV series and films such as Da Brick – movie (2011), The Blacklist – TV series (2013), Oldboy – movie (2013), Show Me a Hero – TV series (2015), Chi-Raq – movie (2015).
Following years, she also appeared in television series “Chicago Fire” in 2015. It is an American action-drama television series, which airs on NBC. Michael Brandt along with Derek Haas and Dick Wolf served as an executive producer. She has also appeared in the TV series “Billions”, playing the role, Deb Kawi from 20 episodes, (2016-2017).
Rise to Mainstream
Hadera came to media attention when Dwayne Johnson announced that she will play the role of his love interest in the upcoming movie “Baywatch”. He announced her saying this:

Personal Life
Hadera is in a relationship with Alex Soroken since 2016. On her 30, birthday, she engaged with boyfriend (now fiancee) Alex Soroken. Her fiance shared a picture on his Instagram account with a beautiful dedication for her saying, “Happy Birthday to my best friend, my companion, my world, and the love of my life @ilfenator. You’ve brought a brilliance to my life that I never imagined. So here is a lifetime of happy returns to this day babe. I love you all the world.”
