Alicia Quarles was born on January 5, 1976, in the Fontana, California, United States. She is mainly known as the correspondent for the E! News based in the New York. In 1991 she started working for E! News Special: Closet Envy. She is also known for presenting the 2014 primetime Emmy Awards.

EARLY YEARS & CAREER 

She was born to Orage Quarles III and Terry Linda Duncan. As her father was a newspaper publisher, she used to move in every three years. Her parents currently reside in Raleigh, NC. Her father is the president The Raleigh News and Observer. Her mother is a high school career counselor. She also has a sibling named Amber Quarles. Amber is five years older than her. She wanted to be a journalist because the job gives a chance to travel, meet interesting people and also is fun.

She joined E! from Associated Press. She was also a Global Entertainment as well as Lifestyle editor. She has over screened more than 60 people and anchored live coverage of Grammys and Oscars. She also appeared on Today Show as well as the MSNBC regularly. She studied at the University of Southern California and graduated from magna cum laude. After completion of her graduation, she started working with the Associated Press Television in Los Angeles as the entertainment reporter and the producer. While working there she has covered numerous major events.
