Carson Daly is an American television and radio personality. Daly serves as a host for The Voice since 2011 and as an Orange Room Anchor for Today. Moreover, he is also the host of the Last Call with Carson Daly. 

Daly was previously a VJ on MTV’s Total Request Live as well as a DJ for the Southern California-based radio station 106.7 KROQ-FM. In addition, he hosts weekly top 30 countdown show The Daly Download with Carson Daly.

Daly then began dating Tara Reid after meeting her in Total Request Live in March 2000. The pair further shared an apartment in New York City. Daly and his girlfriend Tara got engaged on 29th October 2000. Unfortunately, the pair failed to continue their relationship and called off their engagement in June 2001

Later, Carson began dating Siri Pinter, food blogger. The pair got engaged in 2013 and tied the knot after two years of engagement on 23rd December 2015, in a small ceremony. From their relationship, the pair are blessed with three kids.

When Was Carson Daly Born? Early life And Education

Carson Jones Daly was born on 22nd June 1973, in Santa Monica, California. He is the son of Pattie Daly Caruso who is a Coachella Valley TV personality in Palm Springs and J.D. Dally who is an actor. His father died due to bladder cancer when he was six years old.

His mother got re-married to Richard Caruso. He owns a golf shop. Daly grew up along with his sister named Quinn. His mother was a survivor of breast cancer and was honored at Lifetime’s 2004 Breast Cancer Heroes Luncheon.

Carson Daly studied at Santa Monica High School and graduated in 1991. Before graduation, he was one of the members of the school’s golf team. Carson also attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and won golf scholarship but dropped out to pursue a pro golf career.

Carson Daly played golf and contemplated a pro career. In America Junior Golf Association, he played against Tiger Woods. In 1991, after he dropped out of Loyola University he latched onto an internship at a radio station when he was 24.

While Daly was studying at Santa Monica High School, he wanted to become a priest. He worked as Dj in San Francisco Bay Area when he was in his mid 90’s at alternative radio station 98.5 KOME.  He suddenly disappeared and one day appeared on MTV.

Daly became Jimmy Kimmel’s intern at the radio station when Kimmel met 16-year-old Daly when his dad was in a fraternity with Bill Foster. He was ranked as 24 in TV Guide’s list of TV’s 25 greatest Teen Idols. During an episode of Total Request Live in 1996, he has a green Taylor 614ce which was given to him by Michelle Branch after Michelle taught him to play everywhere.everywhere.

Daly hosted New Year’s Eve which was special for NBC in 2003 and 2004. He also hosted and executive producing reality music competition The Voice in 2011. He also has a small but pivotal role in the first episode of My Name is Earl.

Carson further had a small role on Dave Chappelle’s show. He also became an anchor for an orange room on Today in September 2013 and also filled the space of anchor when Matt Lauer and Lester Holt were off.
