Teen Choice Award nominee actress, Maggie Grace is best known her roles on the ABC television series Lost, Twilight and Taken film series.
Early life and Education
Grace was born as Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983, to the parents, Valinn (Everett) and Rick Denig, a jewelry businessperson in Columbus, Ohio. She went to the Worthington Christian Schools from kindergarten through ninth grade and then she enrolled Thomas Worthington High School.
At the age of sixteen, her parents divorced in mutual understanding and her mother began to search for new life. The result of her parent's separation, Grace dropped out of her high school and move to Los Angeles, California along with her mother. She has two siblings named Ian Denig and Marissa Palatas.
She was raised by her single mother in Los Angeles, that time she and her mother struggled financially. Regarding her nationality and ethnicity, she has an English, German, and Scots-Irish ancestry and American nationality.
At the age of eighteen, she landed her first role as the title character in the web-based video series Rachel's Room in 2001. The series is about the affairs inside a teenage girl's bedroom, which was created by Dawson's Creek executive producer Paul Stupin.
In 2002, she worked on the television series "Septuplets", but unfortunately it was canceled before it aired. Following year, she made her breakout role on television movie "Murder in Greenwich" which was based on the true story of 15-year-old Martha Moxley's murder, for which she gained a Young Artist Award nomination. It was directed by Tom McLoughlin.

In 2004, she continued to appear on numerous television shows such as Cold Case, Oliver Beene, Like Family, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. From 2004- 2006-2010, Maggie landed a lead role as a Shannon Rutherford on the fantasy-thriller "Lost", a series created by J.J. Abrams, for which she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout Performance Female for her role.

She had a recurring role as Kim Mills in the action thriller film "Taken" from (2008-2012-2014), which was directed by Olivier Megaton and written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. She also played a role as Irina in the romantic drama fantasy film "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" Parts 1 and 2 (from 2011 -2012).
She continued to appear in several films such as Suburban Girl (2007), Taken (2008), Malice in Wonderland (2009), The Experiment(2010), Unity (2015), The Choice (2016) and much more. In 2017, he appeared in the Blake Robbins-directed film "The Scent of Rain and Lightning", where she will be playing the role as Laurie.

Her upcoming film "Aftermath" is a drama thriller film, where she will be appearing the role Christina along with her co-stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Scoot McNairy and Martin Donovan. It was directed by Elliott Lester and written by Javier Gullón.
The film is scheduled to be released on April 7, 2017. The film is based on the real-life Überlingen mid-air collision and the subsequent murder of Swiss air traffic controller Peter Nielsen by Russian architect Vitaly Kaloyev.
The Scent of Rain and Lightning is her upcoming American drama film, which was directed by Blake Robbins and written by Jeff Robison and Casey Twenter. She will be playing the role, Laurie along with her co-stars Maika Monroe, Justin Chatwin, Mark Webber, Logan Miller, Will Patton, and Brad Carter.
Moving to her personal life, Maggie Grace began to date Brent Bushnell in 2016 and after dating around one year the couple got engaged on February 2017. The former Lost actress took to Instagram to post a loving photo of herself and her fiancé in a canoe, writing, "The strongest and sweetest songs yet remain to be sung (Whitman)."
