Joseph Patrick Kenda mostly known as Joe Kenda was born on 28th August 1946, in Herminie. He grew up in his hometown. Joe was a graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School. For his university degree, he went to the University of Pittsburgh and completed B.A. degree in Political Science.
In 1970, he completed his Master’s degree in International relations from Ohio State University. Most of his male family members worked in a coal mine but, he was interested in crime and murder news when he was young. Ultimately, it led him to a detective career.
In 1973, he moved to Colorado Spring with his family and joined the police department. He worked as a police detective for 23 years and now he is retired.
Altogether, he has solved 387 cases from 1973 to 1996. He also worked as a bus operator for special needs school. Now, the couple lives in Virginia.
