Chad Brownlee is a Canadian country music artist. He also played ice hockey in the defense position. He is famous for his 2012 album Love Me or Leave Me.

BIOGRAPHY

He was born on July 12, 1984, in Kelowna, British Columbia. In 2003, he played for the Vancouver Canucks as a draft pick. He also played for the NCAA’s Minnesota State Mavericks for four years which is located in Mankato, Minn. In 2007, he made his pro debut with the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads. After his injury, he turned his attention to music.

In November 2009, he released his first single “The Best that I Can (Superhero)”. On August 31, 2010, he released his first self-titled debut album “Chad Brownlee” with MDM Recordings. It was produced by Mitch Merrett. The album consists of 12 tracks. The single “Hope” from the album was released on February 8, 2010. On June 21, 2010, he released his single “Hood of My Car”. He released his another single “Day After You” from the album on December 20, 2010. On May 16, 2011, he released his last track from the album. In 2010, his third single “Hood of My Car” charted on the Canadian Hot 100. 

On February 14, 2012, his second studio album “Love Me or Leave Me” was released by MDM Recordings/EMI. The album was produced by Mitch Merrett. The album consists 10 tracks. His single “Love Me or Leave Me” from the album was released in September 2011. On February 13, 2012, he released his single “Smoke in the Rain”. In July 2012, he released “Listen” and in February 2013 he released “Crash”. The single “Smoke in the Rain” reached No. 74 on the Canadian Hot 100 in 2012. In the same year his another “Listen” reached No. 84 on the Canadian Hot 100. 

In 2013, his single “Crash” reached No. 10 at Canada Country and at No. 91 at the Canadian Hot 100. On June 3, 2014, he released his next studio album “The Fighters”. The album was released by MDM Recordings/Universal Music Canada. The album was produced by Mitch Merrett. He was given 4 stars out of five stars by Shenieka Russell-Metcalf of Top Country. The album consists of 11 tracks.

In September, his single “Where the Party At?” was released. His single “Fallin’ Over You” from the album was released in March 2014. In July 2014, he released his another single “Just Because”. He released “When the Lights Go Down” in December 2014. In 2012, his single reached No. 13 on the Billboard Charts and at No. 100 on the Canadian Hot 100. In 2014, his single “Fallin’ Over You” reached No. 10 on the Billboard charts. In the same year his another single “When the Lights Go Down” reached No. 11 on the Billboard Charts and at No. 81 on the Canadian Hot 100. He released his single “Thinking Out Loud”. 

He was awarded by the Canadian Country Music Association as the Rising Star in 2011. In 2013, he was nominated for the Juno Awards of 2013 for his album “Love Me or Leave Me”.
