In an interview with journalist Taffy Brodesser-Akner, she said that she doesn’t mind being skinner but does care about her health very well. She said:

For your heart to pump, pump, pump, pump, it needs the least amount of weight possible to do that.

She further told that people, especially woman, are happy with any weight they possess but she is of different type and that doesn’t work on her.

So all of the people who are saying, ‘Oh, I need to accept myself as I am’ — I can’t accept myself if I’m over 200 pounds, because it’s too much work on my heart. It causes high blood pressure for me. It puts me at risk for diabetes, because I have diabetes in my family.

Since Oprah joined The Weight Watchers in 2015 as representatives, she has lost over 40 pounds in weight. However, according to her, she doesn’t have a goal weight in mind as far as she is healthy, fit, and fine.
